For new data protection rules to work in practice, it will be important that every actor plays its role:
MEMBER STATES
Adapt national legislation to new rules as soon
as possible to give operators enough time to prepare.
-repeal and amend existing laws.
-set up national data protection authorities.
-repeat the text of the Regulation in national law.
Ensure necessary resources and complete independence of Data Protection Authorities.
