On 12 September 2022 Apple published Security Updates to address vulnerabilities in the following products:
- iOS – versions prior to 15.7 and versions prior to 16
- iPadOS – versions prior to 15.7
- macOS Big Sur – versions prior to 11.7
- macOS Monterey – versions prior to 12.6
- Safari – versions prior to 16
- tvOS – versions prior to 16
- watchOS – versions prior to 9
Exploitation of these vulnerabilities could result in arbitrary code execution, privilege escalation and security bypass.
Apple has received reports that some of these vulnerabilities have been actively exploited.
