The Disaster Recovery Certified Expert (DRCE) certification is designed for IT Disaster Recovery managers, planners, and project managers. Candidates will be imparted with essential skills in higher level activities and tasks; this includes DR program management; media handling; raising business awareness; crisis coordination and escalation management; coordination with external agencies.
Many of these tasks demand a higher level of maturity and experience; that are likely to be possessed by professionals supporting, implementing and managing organization-wide programs. A professional with Expert status will be expected to have the skills to maintain awareness of IT DRP and BCM issues, and keep current with IT DRP and BCM practices as they evolve in the future.
