Users and administrators are advised to contact the Security Team to report a security vulnerability in an Ubuntu package.
The Security Team produces OVAL files, which contain details of all known security vulnerabilities and fixes relevant to the Ubuntu release, for each Ubuntu release.
As with any security issue, it is important to update vulnerable software as soon as possible. By doing so, users can help prevent attackers from exploiting known vulnerabilities to gain unauthorized access or perform other malicious actions.
